Gov. Rendell today nominated two lawyers, Joyce Eubanks and Angeles Roca, to fill vacancies on the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, and a third, Thomas Nocella, to fill an open seat on Philadelphia's Municipal Court.

Eubanks, who spent 20 years as a public defender, most recently served as legal counsel for former City Councilwoman Carol Ann Campbell. Roca has a private practice in Philadelphia.
